About

Amitai Hershkowitz, born in Jerusalem (1994), is married to Dr. Isca Hershkowitz, a specialist physician at Hadassah Ein Kerem and a graduate of the Ben-Gurion University Faculty of Medicine, and is a father of two.
He works across education and coaching, combining deep listening with hands-on educational practice to lead tailored change processes for adults and teens.


Education & training:
Horev High School; Orot pre-army mechina; paramedic course; B.A. in Teaching (Land of Israel Studies & History) plus a Teaching Certificate; coaching certification with a specialization in coaching children and teens; and an M.A. in Management & Organization of Educational Systems. These studies form a strong professional foundation for work with individuals and groups.

Professional experience:
instructor at the Orot pre-army mechina (Beit Meir); leadership and instruction at youth camps; instructor and professional practicum at Magen David Adom (MDA), and paramedic at MDA; teaching Hebrew and English to Bedouin youth at the Lakia community center; member of the student union at Herzog College; teaching internship at AMIT Eitan; homeroom educator at Mamlachti-Dati HaRa’el school; security coordinator; and field-trip coordinator. Amitai presented a techno-pedagogic initiative at the “Osim Hinuch Yerushalmi” innovation fair.

Military service: 2013–2016 in the IDF Nahal Brigade, Battalion 932 - combat paramedic and training lead; discharged as Staff Sergeant. He received the President’s Excellence commendation on Independence Day 2016.

Community & volunteering: 2010–2016 volunteer with MDA (Jerusalem region); 2010–2012 counselor in the Ezra youth movement (Central branch); 2012–2013 komunar in Bnei Akiva (Beit Meir).
